Farewell to 'Catwoman': The untold story of Jocelyn Wildenstein
Wildenstein died at the age of 84 in Paris, just days before the premiere of a reality show about her life. The death of this controversial celebrity has touched media outlets around the world.
Jocelyn Wildenstein was known as the Catwoman. She earned her nickname by frequently altering her face through numerous plastic surgeries. Her appearance often elicited fear, as her face no longer resembled that of a human. Nonetheless, her distorted self-image drove her repeatedly to the surgeon's scalpel. Reports suggest she spent several million dollars on surgeries, with alarming results. In 1978, Jocelyn married French billionaire and art collector Alec Wildenstein. The couple divorced after two decades. In 2017, the "Catwoman" got engaged to the designer Lloyd Klein, who is 28 years her junior.
Official reports state that the cause of Jocelyn's death was a pulmonary embolism. It has now emerged that she was working on a reality show about her life but did not live to see its premiere.
TMZ reports that production began around a year ago, but the project is yet to find a television network willing to broadcast it.
