If you're pondering ways to use the strawberries in your fridge, we've got a fabulous suggestion—strawberry tiramisu. This dessert is uncomplicated and quick to make, transforming into an incredibly delicious treat.

We sometimes overlook the vast potential of seasonal fruits. Strawberries, highly favoured during their season, are not just for desserts but can elevate dinners. A prime example of a strawberry-based dessert is the delectable strawberry tiramisu, which offers an exceptional taste and an impressive appearance.

Strawberry tiramisu - a recipe for a summer dessert

Adapting the classic Italian tiramisu, this version pairs the traditional mix of coffee, mascarpone cheese, and alcohol-soaked biscuits with fresh, juicy strawberries. This inclusion infuses the dessert with a light, refreshing taste and perfectly balances the fruity notes of strawberries with the creamy texture of mascarpone. It's an ideal treat for the sunny days of summer, pleasing both the eye and the palate.

To create the best version of this tiramisu, opt for fresh strawberries. Now is the time when Polish markets are brimming with flavorful, aromatic fruits. For this recipe, it is recommended to use two tiramisu cups, each holding about 400 mL. Alternatively, you can assemble the tiramisu in a baking tin. Ensure that both the mascarpone and cream are chilled beforehand.

Ingredients:

- Approximately 100 mL of espresso coffee,
- 9 ladyfingers,
- 250g of mascarpone cheese,
- Roughly 30-40 mL of Amaretto liqueur,
- 120g of 30% cream,
- 1 cream fix,
- 30g of powdered sugar,
- 200g of strawberries,
- 3 level tablespoons of cocoa.

Method of Preparation:

1. Brew about 100 mL of espresso coffee. This can be done by making 4 espressos, each using 7g of freshly ground coffee beans.
2. Mix in about 30-40 mL of liqueur into the cooled coffee.
3. In a bowl, combine the mascarpone, cream, powdered sugar, and cream fix.

4. Whip with a mixer, slowly and gradually increasing the speed until the mixture is stiff.

5. Quick-dip the ladyfingers for 2 seconds into the coffee and liqueur mixture, break them in half, and lay them at the bottom of the cups.
6. Add a layer of cream over the ladyfingers, then dust with cocoa.

7. Arrange half of the washed, dried, and hulled strawberries on the cream (slice more giant strawberries into pieces).

8. Place another layer of the coffee-soaked ladyfingers and dust with cocoa.
9. Finish by adding the remaining cream and strawberries.
Enjoy your delightful strawberry tiramisu!
