After a prolonged media absence, the ailing Duchess Kate appeared at King Charles III's birthday ceremony. When the subjects saw her, they breathed a sigh of relief. However, a question arose regarding her future public appearances. An expert in the matter left no room for doubt.

For several months, the British royal family has been struggling. King Charles III and Kate Middleton have been dealing with illnesses that have significantly prevented them from fulfilling their full duties.

Prince William's wife is undergoing chemotherapy, which weakens her body. Naturally, she has limited her public activity to a minimum. Although it has been under two weeks since Trooping the Colour, the UK media are trying to predict when she will be seen next.

A "Royals" specialist tackled this question and shared her speculations. She revealed which upcoming event the Duchess might be expected at.

Her treatment is ongoing, and will be for the next few months, but I understand she would like to visit the Wimbledon tennis tournament — she is a patron — if she feels up to it," royal expert Emily Andrews told Grazia magazine.

When will Duchess Kate start appearing publicly again?

Emily Andrews expressed hope that the future queen would try to increase the regularity of such activities. However, she did not have good news for those expecting this to happen later this year.

The expert predicts that if the treatment of the 42-year-old Duchess of Wales goes according to plan, she will be able to return to fulfilling all previous duties toward the monarchy as soon as possible, in early 2025.

William is stepping in for her, but the king, who is in a similar situation, also needs support. A few days ago, King Charles III handed one prestigious role to a distant relative at the urging of Queen Camilla.

A natural move would have been to entrust the oversight of the Royal Ballet School to the eldest son. The surprising decision was most likely due to the extra tasks the heir to the throne was taking on due to his wife’s indisposition.
