The second season of "Arcane" was released recently and has left a void in the hearts of many fans of both the game and the series itself. The animation has been a hit since its debut: both the show itself and the music created for it. Previously featuring Imagine Dragons, Twenty One Pilots, and Stromae are enjoying their moment in the spotlight, all in close collaboration with the world known from LOL.

Fans around the world are reaching the end of this beautiful adventure. Is "Arcane" overall one of the best animations in recent years? Yes. However, not everyone had the chance to watch the series as the team of writers and animators envisioned it. In China, "Arcane" faced significant censorship that altered the ending and removed much of the depth from character relationships.

Chinese censorship strikes "Arcane"

In the Chinese version of the series, scenes between Vi and Caitlyn were edited, particularly those depicting physical closeness. The ending was also altered: the two girls do not sit together or cuddle. In the censored script, it appears oddly as if they are only communicating telepathically.

The Chinese regime has long censored movies and series. Changes to storylines have happened in films such as "Fantastic Beasts," where a romantic relationship between Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald is suggested, as well as in other titles like "Fight Club," "Django," and "Skyfall."
