Just a few years ago, there was no indication that Bruce Willis would have to end his career so soon. Unfortunately, his health condition does not allow him to continue working in this profession. The actor has frontotemporal dementia, which affects his daily life. However, the star can count on tremendous support from his loved ones.
Bruce Willis's illness
Before ending his film career, the actor struggled with speech disorders, which made it difficult for him to work. It was initially thought that he was suffering from aphasia, but it quickly turned out that the problem was much more severe.
Doctors discovered that the star has frontotemporal dementia, characterized by degenerative changes in the brain, which can consequently lead to loss of speech, personality changes, and even loss of memory.
Willis's daughters and wife, however, take care of him every day. He can also count on help from Demi Moore. She is the mother of his three eldest children.

Emma Heming recently attended the AFTD 2024 educational conference, where she had the opportunity to talk about her current life. During the panel discussion, she was asked how she felt when she finally learned the diagnosis of her husband's illness.
"I could really exhale and sort of just feel this weight lift from my shoulders. I was able to seek the support that I so desperately needed for my husband, for our whole family," - the model confessed at that time.
