Bridgerton's casting director inundated with indecent audition tapes
The casting director for "Bridgerton" revealed that almost every day, recordings containing indecent, erotic videos land in her inbox. Fans of the Netflix series are eager to act in the fourth part of this popular show.
The third season of "Bridgerton" continued the success of its predecessors and became a streaming sensation. As with previous seasons, this Netflix series was not devoid of erotic scenes involving the protagonists, for which the series is renowned. Viewers spent over 1.5 billion hours watching the adventures of Penelope and Colin, resulting in the production being the most-watched content online for several weeks. The series' popularity is so high that fans do everything possible to appear in their beloved production.
The casting director for "Bridgerton" overwhelmed with recordings
Work is already underway on the subsequent parts of "Bridgerton." The creators have not yet revealed whose story will be the focus. There are several clues, with much talk about the series now centring on Francesca Bridgerton (now played by Hannah Dodd), who married John Stirling in the third season. She met his cousin, who made a tremendous impression on her. If the series' creators follow the books, Francesca will most likely have a romance with her husband's cousin. Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson, is also suggested as a potential leading character for the fourth season.
Fans are convinced that erotic scenes won't be lacking in the next season if the second scenario with Benedict is realized. Kelly Valentine Hendry, the casting director for "Bridgerton," revealed that viewers are already trying to secure a role at any cost in ways she has never seen before.
In the podcast "Should I Delete That?" Hendry revealed that obscene recordings are being sent to her email inbox. "It’s every day… I get the most unbelievable videos, unsolicited (...). It’s sex basically. It’s not actual sex but it’s quite punchy, the stuff that comes through to me. It’s not nude pictures, but not far off. It’s a bit sad, really," said the director. Fans are now focusing on getting the role of Sophie Beckett, who appears in Benedict's life in the "Bridgerton" books.
