British police reported the arrest of four men who broke into the home of British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in Kirby Sigston, North Yorkshire. They said all were arrested "within a minute of entering the premises."

The incident occurred on Tuesday around 7:40 AM Eastern Time. The arrests are linked to the Youth Demand group, which has repeatedly protested against government actions and Labour Party policies.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire police stated that the men "were apprehended, then escorted off the property and arrested on charges of aggravated trespassing." Among those detained are a 52-year-old from London, a 43-year-old from Bolton, a 21-year-old from Manchester, and a 20-year-old from Chichester. Three men were associated with the group, and one was an independent photographer. All remain in custody.

After the men's arrest, the protest group Youth Demand released a video showing a young man entering the Prime Minister's property and defecating into a lake there. The group stated that the 21-year-old from Manchester left a "farewell gift" for the Prime Minister and the Conservative government. Rishi Sunak was not at home at the time.

Youth Demand, in their campaigns, calls for an arms embargo on Israel and for the government to revoke all new oil and gas licences granted since 2021.

Break-in at Rishi Sunak's home. Not the first time

It turns out this is not the first such incident on the property of the British Prime Minister. The previous one occurred in the summer of last year. Protesters then climbed onto the roof of Rishi Sunak's residence. As now, this happened while the Prime Minister was not at home.

The burglars then unfurled a banner reading "No New Oil". Four people were detained. Amy Rugg-Easey, Alexandra Wilson, Michael Grant, and Mathieu Soete have consistently maintained that they do not feel guilty. Their trial is scheduled for July this year.
