Joe Biden introduced Volodymyr Zelensky as Vladimir Putin

Joe Biden does not have good press ahead of the upcoming presidential elections. The President of the United States makes numerous mistakes, causing him to lose favour in the eyes of voters, but the one at the NATO summit surpassed all previous ones. The head of the USA took to the podium, announcing that "they are building a bridge to NATO for Ukraine, leading to eventual membership".

He then invited Volodymyr Zelensky to the podium, but while passing the floor to him, introduced him as "President Putin". "Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. President Putin. President Putin? Conquer President Putin. President Zelensky. I am so focused on defeating Putin," Biden added, trying to turn the situation into a joke. Moreover, just under an hour before this situation, the 81-year-old called Vice President Kamala Harris "Vice President Trump".

Celebrities react to Joe Biden's blunder

The topic of Joe Biden's blunder became one of the most popular on social media. Politicians from around the world have commented on it, but not only them. Celebrities also voiced their opinions on the matter, with some not holding back their criticism towards the President of the United States. A video showing the blunder by the head of the USA was shared on Instagram by, among others, 50 Cent, who couldn't believe what the president had said.

Similarly, Piers Morgan, a journalist and former judge on the British version of "Got Talent," wrote a brief: "Well, damn" on platform X, sharing the moment of the blunder.

On the other hand, journalist Jack Parrock tried to justify the President of the USA, claiming that he certainly didn't mean it. He also emphasized that it is the biggest blunder one can currently make in international diplomacy.
