Sugar, sweeteners, and white wheat flour are among the products harmful to the intestines and immune system and promoting inflammation and cancer. These refined carbohydrates are often present in highly processed foods. Consuming white bread, carbonated drinks, or cookies can disrupt the pancreas, liver, and cardiovascular system.
Certain types of meat are another dangerous product that contains carcinogenic compounds. Consuming 50 grams (~2 oz) of processed meat daily increases the risk of colorectal cancer by 18 percent.
The expert also warns against spicy spices. Research results published in the British journal "BMJ" suggest that spicy additions reduce the risk of premature death but can also lead to gastrointestinal problems.
The article in "Neurogastroenterology & Motility" proved that excessive consumption of spicy spices irritates the mucous membranes of the digestive system, increasing the risk of stomach, esophagus, and oral cancers. People with ulcers, reflux, or inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract should avoid these spices.
Be careful with products rich in sodium as well. It has been proven that excessive salt consumption is destructive to the digestive system and can shorten life by up to two years. Additionally, salt can increase the risk of developing ulcers and stomach cancer. Salt enhances unfavourable cellular changes and strengthens the effects of other carcinogenic factors, such as grilled meat, bacon, ham, or salami.
Cancer is the most common cause of death worldwide. Each year, millions of people lose their lives because of it. We can get sick from tobacco smoke, alcohol, and improper nutrition. The most common cancer is lung cancer.
