Beloved actor Dog Sheehan, 75, remembered for iconic roles

Emmy-nominated Dog Sheehan specialized in soap operas and was often cast in father roles. He began his career in "Charlie's Angels." Still, his breakthrough came with the role of a lawyer in "General Hospital," a cult American series that has been airing continuously for several decades. Sheehan appeared in over 200 episodes.

In the following years, he played a reporter in the soap opera spin-off "Dallas" - "Knots Landing." The 90s marked an era where he frequently took on father roles, such as in the series adaptation of "Clueless," the sitcom "Day by Day," and "Sabrina the Teenage Witch." On the set of this series, he appeared on camera for the last time. The father of the character, played by Melissa Joan Hart, walked her down the aisle on Sabrina's wedding day.
