Zelensky's gratitude posts intensify amid US diplomacy clash
After American Secretary of State JD Vance accused Zelensky of not thanking the USA, the President of Ukraine posted individual thanks to each world leader who expressed solidarity with Ukraine on platform X.
On Friday, at the White House, Donald Trump welcomed the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky. As previously announced by the American leader and confirmed by the President of Ukraine, the aim was to sign an agreement on mineral extraction.
However, the Ukrainian side repeatedly emphasized that it would only sign it if it received security assurances from the American side.
In the Oval Office, there was a clash between the politicians when the President of Ukraine spoke about the necessity of ensuring security guarantees for Ukraine and actively involving Kyiv in the negotiation process.
Zelensky's series of thanks
One of the users on platform X pointed out that the Ukrainian President's response to the lack of thanks to the USA was to thank everyone on social media who publicly supported Ukraine.
X users also compiled all of Volodymyr Zelensky's posts in which he had previously thanked the USA for its support of Ukraine.
