Voge 800 DS Rally: A dynamic new contender for dual-sport fans
Vogue is continuing to expand its model line and develop further in the mid-range category. The latest model from the Chinese manufacturer is a good option for those who want to venture off the pavement.
The Voge 800 DS Rally is a typical touring enduro bike. It doesn't surprise me with its styling; however, the seat height is fairly high (84 cm), but the motorcycle is narrow, which makes it easier to ride and provides greater freedom of movement. There's also an adjustable handlebar, and the tall windshield is designed to provide good wind protection even when riding standing up.
The 800 DS is powered by a twin-cylinder inline engine with a displacement of 799 cc. Its maximum power is 94 horsepower at 9,000 rpm, and the torque is 60 lb-ft at 6,500 rpm. This should allow it to reach a top speed of 190 km/h. As is fitting for this segment, the motorcycle has adjustable suspension both at the front and rear. The motorcycle weighs 213 kg, and the fuel tank holds 24 litres.
The brakes are from the Nissin system, featuring two discs with four-piston callipers at the front and a single disc with a two-piston calliper at the rear. The spoked wheels measure 21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear and are fitted with off-road Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires.
The Voge 800 DS Rally offers selectable ride modes, traction control, and the option to disable ABS when riding off-road. The motorcycle is equipped with heated grips and a seat as standard. Furthermore, as is common in enduro models, the display screen is portrait-oriented, and the system can be connected to a phone.
