Turkey's Erdoğan accuses Netanyahu at UN, likens actions to Hitler
During Tuesday's United Nations General Assembly session in New York, a significant amount of time was dedicated to the ongoing war between Israel and Palestinian Hamas. The President of Turkey stated that the Prime Minister of Israel "must be stopped just like Hitler." He also criticized the UN.
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan argued that the Israeli government is responsible for crimes committed against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. He claimed that as a result of Israel's actions, this area has become the "world's largest children's and women's cemetery."
"Just as Hitler was stopped by the alliance of humanity 70 years ago, Netanyahu and his murder network must be stopped by the ‘alliance of humanity'," the Turkish leader declared.
Erdoğan did not spare bitter words for the United Nations, which he believes is not fulfilling its mission. Instead, it gradually transforms into a "dysfunctional structure."

In his speech, he called on the UN Security Council to stop the "genocide" in the Gaza Strip and to help end "this brutality and barbarism."
"Those who are supposedly working for a ceasefire continue to send weapons and ammunition to Israel behind the stage, so that it can continue its massacres. This is inconsistency and insincerity," Erdoğan stated.
