Trump's potential return to Warsaw: Three Seas summit invite?
President of the United States, Donald Trump, is expected to receive an invitation to the upcoming Three Seas Initiative summit, which will be held at the end of April in Warsaw. As mentioned by the head of the Polish Presidential International Policy Bureau, Mieszko Pawlak, Trump previously participated in a similar event in 2017.
In April, the Three Seas Initiative summit will be hosted by Duda in Poland. Mieszko Pawlak announced that, in addition to the presidents of member countries, heads of state from strategic partner countries of the Initiative will be invited to the Warsaw meeting. He highlighted that the United States is one of these nations.
There will be a formal invitation
A formal invitation will be sent only after Trump's inauguration as President of the United States. The Three Seas Initiative summit is scheduled for April 28-29, 2025.
The head of the Bureau of International Policy reminded that Trump, at Duda's invitation, participated in the Three Seas Summit in 2017 in Warsaw. The possible presence of the US president would form a symbolic closing bracket, especially since it will be the tenth, anniversary Three Seas Initiative summit, he stated.
