Trump's complex rapport with American female voters revealed
Donald Trump is set to become the President of the United States for a second time. He has never hidden his significant interest in women. Years ago, he even made the statement: "You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet," he confessed.

Exit polls indicate that 54% of women in key states voted for Kamala Harris, while 44% voted for her opponent, according to NBC News. Donald Trump suffered a crushing defeat among Black women, with only 7% supporting him. Latino women also favoured the Democratic candidate; however, the new president won among white women, with 52% voting for him.
The majority of American women preferred Kamala Harris
More women voted for Kamala Harris in the U.S. presidential elections than her opponent. This cannot be denied. However, this does not mean that the President-elect did not have significant support among women. Some women spoke in his favour and even defended his statements and beliefs.
"Trump was mocked by the left for saying he would be a defender of women. And he will be a defender of women! That's why I'm voting for him. He will close the border. He won't let boys play women's sports and won't let them be where they shouldn't be," one woman said at a Donald Trump rally before the presidential election.
Many conscious women were surprised by this situation, considering that the 78-year-old politician had frequently spoken about women in a way that raised serious concerns. The politician did not spare harsh words regarding Mika Brzezinski, daughter of the former Polish National Security Advisor, who spoke unfavourably about him. He called her: "Crazy Mika with a low IQ, together with Psycho Joe, came to Mar-a-Lago for three nights in a row around New Year's and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a facelift."
The situation involving American journalist Megyn Kelly caused a stir when she delivered a fiery speech during an event in Pittsburgh, explaining why she eagerly intended to vote for Donald Trump. At the time, the man didn't hold back on kind gestures of appreciation for the woman. Kamala Harris's female voters commented on the matter bluntly, and social media was filled with expressive comments.
"She humiliated herself," "Pathetic," Watching Megyn Kelly, who was a victim of unwanted sexual advances, kiss up to and literally hug a man who brags about doing just that is... it's just sick," commented users on the X platform (formerly Twitter).
Columnist Anna Rollins from Slate observed that online ads aimed at motivating women to vote were circulating in the lead-up to the elections. Just days before the elections, she came across a political ad on Instagram directed at conservative women. The message assured, "Your vote is private," and reassured viewers, "No one needs to know your choice."
There was also a meme-open letter to women supporting Trump, calling on conservative women to recognize their own internalized patriarchy and victimization. The letter "begged American women not to contribute to their own harm," the columnist reported. This was meant to infuriate women, changing many of their minds. They preferred to listen to Donald Trump promising them protection, even if his previous statements and behaviour towards women were highly controversial.
Donald Trump on women: He didn't spare even his family
Here's what the President-elect said about retired Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi: "She's turned on him like a dog. She's as crazy as a bed bug," "We’ll stand up to crazy Nancy Pelosi, who ruined San Francisco — how’s her husband doing, anybody know?"
He accused Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of being too hot-tempered. "This is not even a smart person, other than she's got a good line of stuff. I mean, she goes out and she yaps." Regarding Hillary Clinton, he said: "Such a nasty woman... If Hillary Clinton were a man, I don't think she'd get 5% of the vote." In 2015, he even ventured to say: "If Hillary Clinton can't satisfy her husband what makes her think she can satisfy America?"
Donald Trump has criticized many celebrities in a sexist manner. Regarding Halle Berry, he noted that he "loves the upper body," while Kim Kardashian said, "Does she have a good body? No. Does she have a fat a(...)? Absolutely." Regarding Jessica Chastain, he confessed, in his opinion, "She’s certainly not hot."
Worse still, he even ventured to publicly evaluate the appearance of his wife and daughters. Asked if he would stay with her if she was disfigured in a car accident, he replied: "It all depends on how her breasts look." Regarding his daughter Tiffany, he said: "Well, I think that she's got a lot of Marla, she's a really beautiful baby, and she's got Marla's legs," while about his daughter Ivanka: She's actually always been very voluptuous," "She does have a very nice figure ... if [she] weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her."
In one statement, he summarised his attitude towards women: "You know I'm automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. Just kiss. I don't even wait. And when you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything ... Grab them by the p(...). You can do anything."
