Remember to prepare a more significant portion of the dressing in advance. It disappears so quickly that you might not keep up with making more.

Many people describe lettuce as tasteless. And even though green leafy vegetables are some of the healthiest in the world, it's still difficult to enrich your diet with them. There is one clever way to incorporate them into your daily menu painlessly. Just serve them with a dressing that elevates the simplest mix of leaves.

Clinical dietitian Paulina Korol shared on social media the recipe for a green, thick dressing with skyr and pistachios. Green dressing's biggest advantage is that it can be used as a salad ingredient and also as an addition to pasta, sandwiches, or meat.

You can modify the dressing ingredients to your liking. If you're looking for a substitute for pistachios, try toasted almond flakes or toasted sunflower seeds. Add a few mint leaves, lemon juice, and lemon zest to achieve fresher notes, which will perfectly aromatize the dressing.

Green salad dressing. Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 100 grammes of skyr,
  • 20 grammes of pistachios,
  • a handful of spinach,
  • 4 basil leaves,
  • a tablespoon of olive oil,
  • salt, pepper.

Preparation:

  1. Blend everything into a smooth dressing. Finally, season with salt and pepper.
  2. Store in the refrigerator.
