There is one clever way to incorporate them into your daily menu painlessly. Just serve them with a dressing that elevates the simplest mix of leaves.
Clinical dietitian Paulina Korol shared on social media the recipe for a green, thick dressing with skyr and pistachios. Green dressing's biggest advantage is that it can be used as a salad ingredient and also as an addition to pasta, sandwiches, or meat.
You can modify the dressing ingredients to your liking. If you're looking for a substitute for pistachios, try toasted almond flakes or toasted sunflower seeds. Add a few mint leaves, lemon juice, and lemon zest to achieve fresher notes, which will perfectly aromatize the dressing.
Green salad dressing. Recipe
Ingredients:
- 100 grammes of skyr,
- 20 grammes of pistachios,
- a handful of spinach,
- 4 basil leaves,
- a tablespoon of olive oil,
- salt, pepper.
Preparation:
- Blend everything into a smooth dressing. Finally, season with salt and pepper.
- Store in the refrigerator.
