Is it even possible? Preparing patties without eggs and breadcrumbs is possible and doesn't require many complications. Just add one ingredient. My family loves it when I prepare patties this way.
What to add to patties instead of eggs and breadcrumbs?
Some add soaked bread to the meat mixture. However, the water in the bread can spoil the structure of the patties, causing them to crumble on the pan during frying. A better choice is bread soaked in milk, which eliminates the unpleasant smell of meat.
If you are wondering what to add to meat patties instead of eggs and breadcrumbs, be sure to try the trick with raw potato. For 450 grams of ground meat, one finely grated potato is sufficient (you can also use mashed potatoes to prepare soft, juicy patties). This addition, similar to bread, gives the patties delicacy, and the starch contained in the potatoes will be an excellent ingredient that "binds" the patties. Therefore, eggs will also be unnecessary.
