Russian drone attack in Kyiv claims young life, injures five
On Friday evening, a Russian drone struck a residential high-rise in the capital of Ukraine. A teenage girl was killed, and five people were injured in the attack. Emergency services battled a fire on the building's upper floors.

On Friday evening, a drone strike hit a building in the Solomianskyi district, one of Kyiv's right-bank districts, located in the central-western part of the city.
The mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, reported that a girl born in 2009 was killed in the attack. Five people were injured, four of whom were treated on the scene, while one required hospitalization.
He specified that the fire impacted apartments on the high-rise's top floors.
The head of Kyiv's military administration, Serhiy Popko, stated that more than 100 residents were evacuated from the high-rise, and the injured were treated on-site. "Apartments from the 17th to the 21st floors were damaged," he added.
Popko also reported that drone fragments fell on open ground, but there were no casualties.
