Cristiano Ronaldo, a football icon, has once again found himself at the centre of attention on the international stage. This time, the focus is not on his football skills but on his collaboration with internet giant MrBeast. Their joint video, shared on Ronaldo's channel, quickly garnered hundreds of thousands of views and comments, becoming one of the most significant events in the world of digital entertainment.
Ronaldo announced a project that, according to him, was meant to shock the internet, sparking widespread speculation. Mysterious trailers had already appeared on his channel, suggesting the appearance of someone very famous. When Ronaldo's social media revealed that he would meet with MrBeast, interest peaked.
MrBeast as Cristiano Ronaldo's guest
Cristiano Ronaldo's channel, although only a few months old, can already boast an impressive number of over 67 million subscribers. "I thought you would reach 20-30 million in the first month, and when you reached 60 million, I said, 'Oh my God, the most subscribers in the history of YouTube. Before you, it was us,'" said MrBeast.
Ronaldo, being Ronaldo, joked that MrBeast is the person he has to catch on YouTube, obviously meaning surpassing him in the number of subscribers. The task won't be easy, as currently MrBeast has 331 million subscribers (the most on YouTube).
The two discussed, among other things, how Cristiano Ronaldo should develop his channel. MrBeast suggested he invite internet creators like IShowSpeed and people from the world of sports, like Tom Brady. They also discussed the five-time Ballon d'Or winner's career.
MrBeast joked: "Almost 40! You’re about to die, what’s it like?" to which Ronaldo replied: "I’m going to live until I’m 100, just to let you know."
