The Romanian Ministry of Defence announced that two Russian drones violated Romania's airspace.
According to Polsat News, one of the drones was likely destroyed, prompting authorities to begin searching for its remnants.
Night attacks on Ukraine
This event occurred during the night from Monday to Tuesday, when Russian missiles struck several Ukrainian regions, including Poltava, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the attacks, emergency power outages occurred throughout Ukraine.
Around the same time, the Polish army had to intervene due to the violation of airspace by a Russian Su-24MR aircraft over Gdańsk Bay.
The aircraft penetrated a depth of 4 miles and remained there for 1 minute and 12 seconds. The reason for the incident was a failure in the Russian aircraft's navigation system.
