Changes to the Renault Austral

The Austral was introduced in 2022, standing out in its class by offering a manual transmission. Initially, it came with a 6-speed manual gearbox paired with a 1.3 TCe petrol engine generating 140 horsepower, augmented by a mild hybrid system. Regrettably, this version and the manual transmission option have been discontinued.

The range now starts with a stronger yet pricier 1.3 TCe mHEV, delivering 160 horsepower with an automatic transmission. An alternative is the full hybrid version with 200 horsepower, powered by a 1.2-liter engine. See the prices listed below.

Minimum prices of Renault Austral drive versions

  • 1.3 TCe mHEV 140 HP CVT - starting at around $37,452
  • 1.2 E-Tech full hybrid 200 HP MMT - starting at around $44,025
