Australian actress Rebel Wilson claims that the producers of her directorial debut "The Deb" embezzled hundreds of thousands of dollars from the film's budget. While working on the film, Amanda Ghost allegedly molested one of the actresses, and the other producers wanted to block the Toronto premiere out of sheer malice.

Rebel Wilson accused by former colleagues
One of the film producers Wilson accused is Amanda Ghost. The 50-year-old is a writer and screenwriter, co-author of James Blunt's hit "You're Beautiful" and several songs by Beyoncé and Shakira. In response to the accusations and vulgarities on Instagram, she accused Rebel Wilson of particularly insidious behaviour and being a "malicious bully" on the set of their joint film "The Deb."
Among the accusations are, among others, intimidation, spreading rumours, and allegations about sexual crimes. Attempted bullying and seizing of the script rights to "The Deb" from the young screenwriter.
Ghost pulled out all the stops against Wilson. She filed a lawsuit in court and hired lawyer Camille Vasquez from Brown, who defended Johnny Depp in the case against Amber Heard.
Accusations against Sacha Baron Cohen are slander?
Ghost also claims that Wilson fabricated the accusations regarding Sacha Baron Cohen's alleged misconduct on the set of another film. These accusations, which cost the actor his marriage to Isla Fisher, were supposedly great publicity to boost her book sales.

Meanwhile, Rebel Wilson hired one of the best lawyers in Hollywood, entertainment industry specialist Bryan Freedman. The first court hearings in Los Angeles are scheduled for November 26.
