Potato pancakes don’t have to be limited to savoury versions. While variations with sugar are known, adding fruit elevates their flavour to new heights. You will surely surprise your loved ones with this option.

Maximally crispy potato pancakes with a sweet addition taste so good that some people may prefer this version over the savoury one. What’s in them? For some, it’s amazingly unusual, while others delight in them. It turns out that the surprising combination of potato pancakes with plums can be delightful.

These potato pancakes are a treat for those who enjoy combining them with sugar, and there’s no shortage of such fans. A fresh, crispy potato pancake sprinkled with sugar tastes surprisingly good. Beyond sugar, it’s worth adding a bit of cinnamon and finely chopped plums to the pancake mixture. It sounds a little odd, but trust me, there’s a method to this madness.

The excellent taste of potato pancakes with plums confirms how versatile a simple, honest potato can be. Such potato pancakes are best served with a dollop of sour cream.
