The Party of Action and Solidarity is a centre-right and liberal political party founded by Maia Sandu in 2016. The group is an observer of the European People's Party and the International Democrat Union.

The party was formed in response to protests in Moldova during 2015–2016 and growing dissatisfaction among citizens with the actions of the then-ruling party.

According to its leaders, the group was formed to function based on the principles of internal democracy and funding from small donations.

The PAS programme is fundamentally based on the idea of an economy relying on private ownership and advocates for significantly reducing bureaucracy at all operational stages.
