An omelet is the ideal breakfast for busy mornings. It is quick, simple to prepare, and incredibly tasty, and it can be ready in five minutes. Here are a few tricks to ensure your omelet is always fluffy and moist. Here is a tried-and-tested recipe, along with some tips to achieve perfection.

How to fry a fluffy and moist omelet

Frying an omelet seems simple, but the key lies in the details. To achieve a fluffy and moist omelet, follow a few important rules.

Important tips:

  1. Don’t overheat the pan: Heat the pan over medium heat. The high temperature will cause the omelet to set quickly, losing its fluffiness and moisture.
  2. Mixing the ingredients: Instead of mixing them in a bowl, put them in a closed jar and shake for a few minutes. This will make the omelet more aerated and light.
  3. Fry with a cover: Frying the omelet under a lid over very low heat retains moisture and makes the omelet soft and delicate.
