Nikola Jokic and Russell Westbrook, players for the Denver Nuggets, once again showed their class. For the second time this season, this duo managed to achieve a "triple-double" in a game against the Brooklyn Nets, which ended with a score of 124-105.

Jokic scored 35 points, 15 assists, and 12 rebounds, marking his 145th career "triple-double" and 15th this season, making him the leader in this category. Westbrook, on the other hand, scored 25 points, 10 assists, and 11 rebounds, increasing his all-time record to 202 "triple-doubles."

This is the first case in NBA history where a club duo records a "triple-double" in more than one game in a season.

Dominance of the Nuggets in the Western Conference

With this victory, the Nuggets secured their second consecutive win and hold fourth place in the Western Conference with a record of 22-15. Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets, with Keon Johnson as the leading scorer with 22 points, lost their fourth game in a row and are in 12th place in the East with a record of 13-25.

The Oklahoma City Thunder, leaders of the Western Conference, also returned to the winning path after ending their club's best-ever series of 15 victories. On Friday, they defeated the New York Knicks 126-101, with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scoring 39 points, supported by Isaiah Joe with 31 points. The Knicks, after a nine-game winning streak, suffered their fourth loss in the last five games and are third in the East with a record of 25-14.

On Friday, it was announced that two NBA games scheduled for Saturday would be postponed due to fires in the Los Angeles area. This concerns the matchups between the Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Clippers and Charlotte Hornets. New dates for these games have not yet been set. In the fires, Lakers coach JJ Redick lost his home.
