The fight against the fire continues in Los Angeles. More than 10,000 buildings have been destroyed or damaged. At least 11 people have also died. Local authorities have estimated losses of up to CAD 150 billion.

The fire has affected American cinema stars and media personalities in Los Angeles. Many have lost their villas and estates, and some have had to leave the city, including Harrison Ford.

The star, known for his roles in Star Wars, had to leave the Palisades neighbourhood on the western edge of the city, which has been approximately 8% overtaken by the fire. The neighbourhood is practically deserted, as most residents left voluntarily without assistance. However, Ford did not want to leave his home on his own.

The intervention of local police was necessary to escort the star. A video appeared online showing Harrison Ford sitting in a police car. The actor appears troubled by the whole situation. However, he did not argue with the officers and was taken to a safe place.

Many victims of the fires in Los Angeles

The list of well-known people affected by the Los Angeles fires is long. Among the stars who have lost their properties are Paris Hilton, Mel Gibson, Anthony Hopkins, and John Goodman.

Five fires are consuming various districts of the "City of Angels." Strong winds are hampering the firefighting efforts. The situation is expected to calm down on Saturday night into Sunday Eastern Time.
