Gheorghe Muresan, also known as Ghiță, stands at a towering 7 feet 7 inches. He holds the title of the tallest player in NBA history. His skills matched his height. The Romanian basketball star played for teams including the New Jersey Nets and the Maryland Nighthawks.
Muggsy Bogues is a personality known to NBA fans and followers of the movie "Space Jam." Standing at a mere 5 feet 3 inches, the player played one of the main roles there. Among his achievements, Bogues was a world champion with the USA team. In 1997, he led the league in 3-point shooting accuracy.
Both Gheorghe Muresan and Muggsy Bogues played for the Washington Bullets, known today as the Washington Wizards. However, they did not have the opportunity to play together on the same team. Muggsy Bogues was part of the "Wizards" lineup during the 1987–1988 seasons.
Meanwhile, the Romanian player represented the Washington Bullets from 1993 to 1998. He also ventured into acting, starring in the film "My Giant" alongside Billy Crystal.

Gheorghe Muresan is not the only record-breaking player representing the Washington Wizards. The team also boasted Manute Bol, who was only a few millimetres shorter. Interestingly, Bol played alongside Bogues for one season.
