Homemade lavender syrup

Ingredients:

  • Approx. 500 mL of fresh lavender flowers,
  • 500 mL of sugar,
  • 500 mL of water,

Preparation Method:

  1. Thoroughly wash and dry the lavender flowers.
  2. Place the lavender flowers, sugar, and water in a pot.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool.
  5. Strain the syrup through a sieve to remove the lavender flowers.
  6. Pour the syrup into sterilized bottles and seal tightly.

It's worth adding this syrup to your morning coffee. A hint of lavender syrup gives your favourite coffee a unique character. You can adjust the intensity of the flavour to your liking.
