Hugh Grant: Revealing the struggles of fidelity and fatherhood

Hugh Grant lived in an informal relationship with Elizabeth Hurley for many years, yet she is not the mother of any of his five children. The actor, known for his roles in romantic comedies, has admitted to facing significant struggles with fidelity, a challenge Hurley also endured.

Although Hugh Grant prefers to keep his personal life private, he opened up while promoting his latest film, "Wonka." "I'm not in the mood for laughter at all. I'm surrounded by children for whom I feel too old," the 63-year-old actor shared in an interview.

"I somewhat despise making films, but now with so many children, I find myself needing the income," Grant remarked, blending humour with sincerity. Grant is a father to five children, with the eldest approaching thirteen and the youngest celebrating their sixth birthday in March. He shares these children with two women, one of whom he has married.

Hugh Grant shared a long-term informal relationship with Elizabeth Hurley, whom he met in the theatre in 1987. Their relationship experienced its share of ups and downs, with Grant’s arrest in 1995 marking a significant low. He was caught with a sex worker in a car on the notorious Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood.

The couple didn't split up immediately, with their official separation occurring in 2000. A decade later, another significant figure in Grant's life emerged – Tinglan Hong, the mother of Grant's first daughter, born in September 2011. Then, exactly one year later, Grant welcomed a son with Swedish TV producer Anna Eberstein. Three months following that, Hong gave birth to Grant's second son.

The British actor eventually decided to marry Eberstein, with whom he had two more children: one in December 2015 and another in March 2018. The couple married two months after their youngest child was born. In an interview, Grant shared his regret over not marrying his partner sooner.
