In September, we say goodbye to summer and welcome autumn. As a result, the heating season starts. It's worth thinking about how to prepare properly.

Undoubtedly, it's very important to take care of the radiators. What should be done?

The most important thing you need to do is to turn them on and set them at the maximum heating level. This way, you will avoid the risk of the radiator becoming airlocked. As soon as the heating season starts, the radiator should be set to the highest power.

It has also been noted that an important step in preparing the radiator for the heating season is cleaning it. This is because a dirty and dusty radiator is significantly less efficient.

Of course, cleaning a finned radiator is very simple. In fact, a damp cloth and a dust brush or a special vacuum cleaner attachment are enough.

How to clean a panel radiator?

A panel radiator poses a greater challenge when it comes to cleaning. How can you deal with dirt in this case?

First, you need to unscrew the top cover and get inside. Then gently pour water mixed with dish soap into it. It’s worth placing a bowl under the radiator to catch any water that might drip onto the floor. This way, you can clean a panel radiator quickly and effortlessly.
