How to beat the summer heat in your car without catching a cold

Summer is in full swing, and the heat is relentless. When thermometers show high temperatures, a car's interior can resemble a sauna. Fortunately, there's a way to lower the temperature in the vehicle quickly.

A hot car interior is almost the worst thing that can happen to us after a tiring day. Entering a hot car, most drivers instinctively turn on the air conditioning at full blast. This is a mistake, as catching a cold this way is easy.

Before turning on the air conditioning, it's worth using natural methods to ventilate the interior first. The best solution is to open the doors or windows.

It's worth remembering that there are ways to ventilate the car remotely! One such way is the remote window opening and closing function, which is not widely known. This option is handy as it allows for the car's ventilation, even from the office or home.

How to remotely open car windows?

Not all keys have the option of remote window opening, but this capability does exist in many cars.

How to let fresh air into the car interior? The method is simple. Just hold the unlock button on the key fob. If we want to close the windows, we must hold the vehicle lock button for a few seconds.

It's worth opening the windows for a moment before driving. This will allow the car's interior to breathe and reduce the difference between the outside temperature and the cabin. At the beginning of the drive, it's also a good idea to keep the windows down to prevent the interior from overheating. However, one must be cautious to avoid catching a draft.
