Germany poised to be Trump's favourite under a second term

When asked whether he thinks German politicians would like him to become the head of American diplomacy, Grenell replied: "I don't care what they think. It's about America."
We will follow Donald Trump's example and put America first, just like every other country puts itself first - emphasized the former U.S. Ambassador to Berlin.
Grenell also recalled his experience working at the UN, where for eight years he "witnessed how 193 countries invariably put their interests first." He mentioned that during thousands of diplomatic meetings, other countries always had specific requests of the U.S.
Germany is a powerful country - Grenell emphasizes
The diplomat also pointed to the problematic public debt in the U.S., noting that Germany records a budget surplus every year. He expressed admiration for German infrastructure, emphasizing that the U.S. should take cues from Germany in aspects like airports and the number of surgeries.
When asked which German politician Trump will respect the most, Grenell stated: "I've been saying this for a long time and I really believe that Germany has the potential to become Donald Trump's favourite country." According to the diplomat, Germany "is a very powerful country."
So I would say that Donald Trump would appreciate a person who manages Germany in a way that takes care of people and makes decisions for Germany, not trying to interfere in the affairs of other countries. That's exactly what we are trying to do in America - declared Grenell.
