French elections: Final hours of voting
The final hours of voting are underway. Polling stations will close at 1 PM, except in major cities where voting will end at 3 PM. Only after all polling stations are closed can the exit poll data be published.
The second round of elections will determine whether the far-right National Rally (RN), which led after the first round, will be able to obtain an absolute majority in the parliament (at least 289 seats) and form a government.
