Fatal collision near Ukraine border: Russian soldiers injured
A bus carrying 32 Russian contract soldiers collided head-on with a Volga car. The 69-year-old driver died at the scene, and the bus with the soldiers fell into a ditch and overturned. The incident occurred in the Voronezh region in Russia.

The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon in the Rossoshansky district of the Voronezh region. The soldiers were being transported from the Russian city of Ufa, the capital of Bashkortostan.
Accident en route to the front
A Volga car collided with the bus several kilometres from the border with Ukraine. The driver, a 69-year-old man, died instantly.
After the collision, the passenger car caught fire and exploded shortly afterward. Residents recorded the incident and shared the videos online. Meanwhile, the bus with the Russians overturned into a ditch.
Nine soldiers were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The rest continued their journey to the front in a replacement bus.
An investigation has been initiated into the accident.
