A wave of troubling events organized by the far-right has recently swept through French cities. These meetings witness human rights violations and incitement to hatred. In recent weeks, more municipal authorities have taken action to stop the organizers.

French media report on this disturbing social phenomenon. Xenophobic demonstrations are occurring in many cities. The ultra-right group Hélix Dijon is behind the series of events in France.

Invitations posted on social networks depict a young blonde man holding a surfboard with the German inscription "Ausländer raus" (Foreigners out) and the French slogan "l’été des garçons blancs" (The summer of white boys). Human rights organizations are responding to this worrying phenomenon.

Now, French local governments want to counter this terrifying xenophobia. On Tuesday, the Dijon City Hall announced it would ban the "Ausländer raus" evening planned for Saturday. The city's mayor, François Rebsamen, issued an order banning such a concert, although the event's location is unknown.

As stated by the BMFTV television station, the Human Rights League announced on Monday its intention to file a complaint against the organizers "for incitement to racial hatred." "Racism and calls for hatred are not more or less folkloric opinions; they are crimes. They regularly lead to violent attacks and acts of everyday discrimination," representatives of the organization wrote on social media.

The Solidaires 21 Association from the Côte-d'Or prefecture is also protesting. The trade union is calling for all local authorities to issue bans.

A similar evening was cancelled in Rouen last month. The themed event "Ausländer raus" was supposed to be held in a city bar but ultimately did not occur.

The participants are generally very young people. The German slogan became a viral message online after scandalous performances by techno bands at a music festival in Albi, Tarn department.
