"For safety reasons, the terminal had to be evacuated and is currently closed. Flight operations have been temporarily suspended. Passengers are requested to contact their airline for information about their flight," the airport stated.
The reason for the evacuation is currently unknown. Police are working in the area.
The media remind us that this is the fifth time this year that EuroAirport has been evacuated. In January and March, there were reports of a bomb in the terminal, but the threats turned out to be false.
The Olympic Games begin in France on Friday. On that day, there was already an attack on the TGV in Paris, and some trains were delayed.
