This snack fits perfectly into the spring menu. Thanks to the final effect, it looks like real tulips. Since flowers are associated with spring, there’s no better idea than to introduce interesting forms and vibrant colours into your kitchen.

What's more, the entire process of preparing this delicious snack is incredibly easy. The list of ingredients is also very short, as it relies on just three products that you will surely find in your fridge.

How to make stuffed tomatoes that will look like tulips?

Ingredients:

  • small tomatoes,
  • fresh chives,
  • cream cheese with dill, seasoned with salt and pepper to taste.

Preparation method:

  1. Start your edible tulips by preparing the filling. Finely chop the dill and mix it with the cream cheese to do this.
  2. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste, then transfer it into a pastry bag.
  3. Next, prepare the tomatoes. Cut each one from top to bottom in a crisscross pattern, which allows them to open beautifully, like the petals of a real tulip.
  4. On the opposite side, make a small hole using an ordinary toothpick. After a while, you can insert the green chive into the hole, and the stem of the edible tulip is ready.
  5. Finally, stuff each tomato with the previously prepared mixture and serve on a long plate.
