Eco‑friendly paste restores pots and pans to like-new shine

Residue often appears on the bottoms of pots and pans, especially those used on gas stoves. At high temperatures, this residue can penetrate the surface of the cookware. If these dishes are not cleaned regularly, restoring them to their original state can be extremely difficult.

This residue is usually burnt food remnants that flow to the bottom of the pot or pan during cooking. The less frequently we clean them, the harder it becomes to remove the stains, which become increasingly persistent over time. However, there is a method that will make the dish look like new again. You only need two ingredients.

Brilliant cleaning paste - the pan will be like new

Baking soda is the most popular cleaning ingredient. It is environmentally friendly and does not irritate the respiratory tract. You can find it in most stores. You will also need gall soap to prepare a paste that effectively cleans dishes.

Gall soap is a natural remover that removes grease, chocolate, grass, or wine stains. It is cheap and worth having at home, especially if small children live in it, as it is safe for their skin.

To prepare the cleaning paste, mix a cup of baking soda with a cup of gall soap. It's best to buy the soap in bar form, grate it, and then dissolve it by adding a small amount of water.

Rub the resulting paste generously on the burned bottoms of the pots and leave it for at least half an hour. After this time, wipe off the remaining stains with a soft sponge. The residue should disappear. However, if the stains are persistent, repeat the process, but this time, pour a teaspoon of vinegar or citric acid over the paste.

The soda will start to "fizz," but that's normal. This will make both ingredients even more effective. Finally, remove the paste again with a sponge and rinse the pot under running water. The bottom will be clean and shiny. This type of mixture can also be successfully used in the bathroom, for example, to clean ceramics and fixtures.
