You will recognize the "new" Multistrada primarily by its redesigned front. It has retained its aggressive presence but gained wider, differently contoured fairings designed to better protect the rider and passenger from wind and rain.

The lights are also new. The rear light features an interesting function called Ducati Brake Light Evo, which causes the light to flash at speeds below 15 km/h. According to Ducati, this will improve low-speed safety and make the motorcycle more visible to other road users.

Italian engineers have also worked on the mechanics. The suspension is supposed to be more resistant to sagging even under full load, and the wheels, which are 2 kg lighter, reduce unsprung weight. They are also forged.

Ducati also boasts an updated cylinder deactivation system, which can now deactivate at idle and during gentle riding, contributing to lower fuel consumption.

The DSS Evo semi-active suspension control system should also work better. It should respond faster to bumps, and thanks to the new WET riding mode, handling on wet surfaces will improve. In the Pikes Peak edition, we get a more sporty riding position, Öhlins suspension, a Racing mode, a single-sided swingarm, and a 17-inch front wheel.

The refreshed Multistrada V4 family should hit showrooms in October 2024. At that time, we will learn the full specifications and prices.
