Chicken strips are a party classic that almost everyone eagerly reaches for. My version offers as many as five different flavours, so everyone will find their favourite among the meat bites. The meat is juicy and not fatty because the strips are baked in the oven.

Chicken strips are prepared in five delicious chip coatings. Each coating has a different flavour, making the snack board varied and interesting.

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs,
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour,
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper,
  • 1 teaspoon of salt,
  • 400 ml of buttermilk,
  • 20 pieces of chicken tenderloins,

Coating:

  • 100 g of ridged chips - paprika,
  • 100 g of ridged chips - kebab,
  • 100 g of ridged chips - onion,
  • 100 g of ridged chips - chili,
  • 100 g of ridged chips - cheese.

Instructions:

Step 1. Crack the eggs in a bowl. Add the flour, salt, pepper, and buttermilk, and mix everything until a smooth and uniform batter forms. Add the chicken tenderloins and mix well to coat the meat with the batter.

Step 2. Crush all the chips and place them in separate bowls. You can easily do this by putting the chips in a zip-lock bag and crushing them with a rolling pin. Dip the chicken pieces in the coating so they are well covered with the chips.

Step 3. Place the chicken strips on a rack. Put them in an oven preheated to 200°C and bake for 15 minutes. Transfer the strips to a board, decorate with chopped parsley, and serve with a favourite dip. Enjoy your meal!
