Celine Dion experienced a great tragedy nine years ago when her longtime partner, René Angélil, passed away. The manager and music producer, who was 26 years older than the singer, battled throat cancer. The illness first struck him in 2013, and he underwent surgery at that time. After two years, the singer's husband's health deteriorated drastically. The man died on January 14, 2016.

René Angélil left behind six children. Twenty-three-year-old Rene-Charles and twins Eddy and Nelson are the children he had with Celine Dion. The producer also had three children from previous relationships. With his first wife, he had a son, Patrick. During his marriage to singer Anne Renée, Jean Pierre and Anne Marie were born.

On Wednesday, Celine Dion posted a family photo with her sons on Instagram to mark the ninth anniversary of her beloved husband's death. The diva sits on a terrace in a winter setting, accompanied by Rene-Charles and the 15-year-old twins Eddy and Nelson. The whole group dressed from head to toe in shades of white and light beige.

In the post's description, the family addressed their late husband and father. The singer also expressed her love for him.

René, we can’t believe you’ve been gone nine years already. Not a day goes by that we don’t feel your presence, RC, Eddy, Nelson and I. You were my greatest champion, my partner, and the one who always saw the best in me. I honor you and you are forever missed mon amour…. We love you - she wrote.

Isn't it touching?
