Earlier, during a meeting with representatives of the House of Representatives at the Hyatt Hotel in Washington, Trump emphasized the historic nature of his electoral victory. He claimed that these were the most important elections in 129 years.
He also announced that in the upcoming elections, Republicans will win in traditional liberal strongholds such as New York and California.

Meanwhile, CNN reports that the First Lady of the U.S. joined her husband in welcoming Trump. Previously, Jill Biden had sent Melania Trump an invitation to the traditional meeting of the outgoing and incoming First Ladies, but it was not accepted. American media report that the reason was previously scheduled activities related to the promotion of her book.
