Aston's retro-inspired Valiant packs a modern punch with 740 HP
The British continue to develop a line of models inspired by retro style. First, Valour debuted, and now Valiant joins – sharper, more track-oriented, yet still road-legal.

Valiant is essentially a reinforced and sharpened counterpart to Valour. Stylistically, it draws inspiration from the 1970s and 1980s. Power-wise, however, it is a contemporary vehicle. Under the long hood lies a twin-turbo V12, generating up to 730 HP.
Representatives of Aston Martin claim that no one other than Fernando Alonso himself – the driver of the Aston Martin F1 Racing team – encouraged them to create the Valiant. As you can see, the master's requests were acknowledged.
The Valiant stands out due to its refined aerodynamics and powerful engine. The splitter, side skirts, and large spoiler form a cohesive whole with the fenders and are particularly impressive. The 21-inch magnesium wheels, hiding a set of efficient ceramic brakes, complete the look.
Although Aston does not disclose the vehicle's weight, it assures that it is surprisingly light. This is primarily thanks to the extensive use of composites and titanium, which, combined with adaptive, adjustable suspension, is meant to ensure agility and speed in all conditions.
Speed will also be ensured primarily by the 5.2-litre V12 generating 740 HP—over 30 more than in the Valour model. To top it off, a 6-speed manual transmission transfers the power to the rear wheels.
Bucket seats with harness belts, a large, three-spoke steering wheel, and aluminum pedals will help tame and feel this beast. The metal gear shifter with a visible mechanism also looks excellent.
Aston Martin intends to create only 38 units of the Valiant. Each is expected to cost around 2 million pounds ($2.45 million).
