In Rostov-on-Don, an "interception" plan was launched following the escape of an armed soldier. According to the Baza channel, citing sources, 36-year-old Musa fled from the military unit on Oganova Street in a gray Hyundai with Chechen license plates. A manhunt is underway.

Russian media report that the soldier escaped from the military unit on Oganova Street in Rostov-on-Don.

The channel "What's in Rostov" states that the car in which the soldier fled was last seen on the outskirts of the city. The police have not officially commented on this information so far.

Interception is a general term used in Russia to describe established warning signals used to gather police personnel for "urgent operational activities."

After introducing the plan, an operational group is created to coordinate all activities in the search area. For "interception," only forces regularly engaged in maintaining public order in the territory in question can be involved, or additional units from the region can be engaged if the action commander deems it necessary.

In addition to Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) units, the operational group can notify other services equipped with radio communication about the "interception" – taxis, emergency services, etc. They also receive instructions regarding the sought-after vehicles.
