- A Learjet 55 air ambulance crashed on Friday in a residential area of Philadelphia near a shopping centre. According to NBC, there were six people on board, but the number of casualties may be higher.
- U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday evening that he would soon speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin and that they would "do something significant." However, he did not provide details.
- Trump also announced that he would "absolutely" impose tariffs on goods from the European Union. He also said that tariffs on products from Mexico and Canada will include oil and gas, though the tariff rate will be 10% instead of 25%.
