Why Kieran Culkin shields his kids from 'Home Alone'
Kieran Culkin revealed why his children cannot watch "Home Alone." His brother played the main role, and he played the role of little Fuller McCallister.
Kieran Culkin, known for his role in the series "Succession," explained why his children do not watch "Home Alone." The actor, who played Kevin's younger cousin, Fuller, shared his concerns.

During a conversation with E! News on the red carpet, Culkin stated that some scenes from "Home Alone" might be too scary for his three-year-old son. "For the three-year-old, there’s the tarantula and there’s the guy at the end who said [threats]. That’s scary for a three-year-old," he said.
The movie "Home Alone" debuted in December 1990 and became a favourite holiday film worldwide. Kieran was seven years old at the time, and his brother Macaulay, who played the main role, was eleven.
Kieran recalls how fame affected his brother's life after the movie's success. In the "Fresh Air" podcast, he mentioned that Macaulay lacked the tools to handle such popularity as a child. "It's not a very nice thing, fame. No anonymity, it's terrible," he added.
Kieran Culkin continues his acting career, with his latest role being Benji in "True Pain." Macaulay also remains active in the entertainment industry as an actor, musician, and producer. He is engaged to Brenda Song, with whom he has two children.
Macaulay doesn't prohibit his children from watching "Home Alone." Last year, he told "Entertainment Tonight" that his son Dakota has already seen the movie and finds it funny. "I convinced my oldest that he's the kid in the movie," he joked.
