These rolls are perfect for anyone, whether you're an experienced baker or just beginning your culinary adventure. The straightforward recipe and minimal ingredients mean anyone can bake them without trouble. Most importantly, the result is always impressive!

How to make homemade garlic rolls?

Follow this easy step-by-step recipe. Begin by preparing the yeast starter, then knead the dough. After the dough has risen, shape the rolls and brush them with garlic butter. Bake the rolls in the oven until they turn golden. That's it!

Here's the recipe for garlic rolls:

Ingredients for the dough:

- 500 g of all-purpose flour,
- 1 teaspoon of sugar,
- 25 g of fresh yeast,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil,
- About 250 mL of water,
- About 50 mL of warmed milk.

Ingredients for the garlic mixture:

- 5 cloves of garlic,
- 4 tablespoons of butter,
- 1 teaspoon of Provençal herbs,
- ½ teaspoon of dried oregano,
- A pinch of salt.

How to prepare:

1. Start by preparing the starter. Add sugar, 2 tablespoons of flour, and warm milk to crush the yeast in a bowl. Mix well and leave in a warm place for 15 minutes.

2. Sift the flour into a larger bowl. Add salt, the risen starter, warm water, and oil. Knead the dough vigorously until all the ingredients are well combined. If necessary, adjust with more flour or water to get the right consistency. Cover the dough with a cloth and leave it to double in size.

3. After the dough has doubled, divide it into medium-sized balls. Place them on baking paper and allow to rise for about 20 minutes.

4. Meanwhile, prepare the garlic mixture. Peel the garlic and press it through a crusher. Add melted butter, salt, and herbs, and mix thoroughly.

5. Apply the garlic mixture to the rolls and place them in an oven preheated to 180°C (about 356°F). Bake for about 20 minutes, until the rolls turn golden and aromatic.
6. Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving.

Additional tips:

- Feel free to add your favorite herbs to the dough, such as basil, thyme, or rosemary.
- Garlic rolls are a versatile addition to breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
- They also make a great snack for a barbecue or picnic.

- These rolls taste best when warm, but you can easily reheat them in the oven or pan if necessary.
