Visionary predictions: Tesla's tech foresight realized
Mobile phones, Wi-Fi, and even the Internet are elements without which it's hard to imagine daily life today. Although they seem obvious to us, their current forms were predicted many years ago by visionaries who were far ahead of their time.

Many thinkers, inventors, and writers over the centuries have envisioned the future in ways that might have seemed like mere fantasy at the time. It is surprising, however, that some of these predictions have become reality, and the technologies and ideas that were once mere dreams are now an integral part of our daily lives.
Nikola Tesla was ahead of his time
It's worth mentioning an article from September 1933 published in the "Kansas City Journal-Post." A statement about Nikola Tesla, known then as a scientist ahead of his time, perfectly captures his genius: "Several of these inventions or discoveries will be looked upon as "miracles" by many people, for Mr. Tesla has long been a scientist years ahead of his time, one whose advanced theories have alternately stamped him a "madman" and a wizard." Even though his theories often faced criticism, much like Copernicus's theory once did, Tesla was not willing to give up on developing his inventions.
The American inventor of Serbian descent, Tesla was a pioneer in many fields. His ideas laid the foundation for technologies that today are an integral part of our reality. He proposed the creation of devices that people could carry in their pockets, which was a visionary idea of mobile phones.
Tesla had a premonition of the emergence of Wi-Fi, forecasting the future of wireless data transmission. It's also worth mentioning Tesla's prediction of something akin to today's social networks and internet portals. He also accurately predicted live streaming, supporting theories about transmitting events over distance. Watkins also shared this visionary perspective on global connectivity.
Digital photography and X-ray images
Watkins also wrote about the future of colour photography and the transmission of images during distant encounters at the speed of light, which today is commonplace, though in his time was science fiction.
Tesla was also the first to take a photograph using X-rays and predicted that X-ray photography might become a form of art. Quick-thinking inventors and writers like Lem saw the seeds of a global network in records from the past.
Iconic visions of our future world, including the Internet, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence, were part of the imaginations of Tesla and Lem. Both visionaries dared to dream of technologies that have revolutionized our lives. From this light, like a constellation, emerges an image of a world that has become a reality thanks to their bold predictions and innovations.
