The Ukrainian portal Unian reports a drone strike on the largest refinery in the Kaluga region, "Pierwyj Zawod." The attack allegedly resulted in a significant fire at the facility, with storage units containing heating and diesel oil reportedly catching fire.

Russian Telegram channels report that residents of Kaluga heard a loud explosion, followed by a fire at the oil refinery.

Meanwhile, the Russian newspaper "RIA Novosti" only confirms, citing information from the regional governor, that three drones were destroyed on the outskirts of Kaluga.

"When drone fragments fell, a fire broke out on the premises of one of the industrial enterprises. Workers from the Emergency Ministry and a task force are at the scene. Initially, no casualties were reported," writes "RIA Novosti."

"The fire at the industrial enterprise in Kaluga, which broke out after the drone debris fell, has been extinguished," stated the governor, as quoted by "RIA Novosti."

According to him, air defence destroyed eight drones in just one night.
